Insurance Reimbursement for Massage & Reiki

Does Divine Spark accept insurance for massage therapy or Reiki sessions?

More and more insurance plans are beginning to cover massage and Reiki. If you're interested in using insurance to cover your session, we ask that that you check with your insurance provider prior to your appointment to determine the insurance company's policies regarding reimbursement for therapeutic massage services or Reiki services. Divine Spark does not accept insurance cards and does not bill insurance companies directly for payment of services. However, we will provide a receipt to the client to be submitted for reimbursement.

Here is how it works: Upon completion of the massage therapy or Reiki session, payment is paid in full from the client for services rendered. Upon request, we will provide an invoice/receipt on company letter head which lists the services that were provided during the appointment. Clients then submit this invoice directly to their insurance company, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) provider, Health Spending Account (HSA) provider, or Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) for reimbursement.
